Please could someone ID this grass?

Taken from a friends garden. Would love to know what it is. Google searches of ‘small variegated ornamental grass’ haven’t helped me.  Thanks in advance.

Looks like some sort of carex (a sedge, not a grass) — perhaps Carex oshimensis ‘Everest’
    Cambridgeshire, UK

Thank you @Athelas! It does look like Everest. No wonder it wasn’t coming up in searches  :#

Sedges have edges, rushes are round and grasses are flat is one way of starting to ID these plants.

I have one very similar, it’s called Carex Ice Dance.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

@bertrand-mabel Thank you! I might even remember that.
@Lyn It’s quite hard to tell Everest and Ice Dance apart. Thank you, will nab it if I see it :)
