Slug or worm eggs? (Digging my pond)

Hi,

I’m currently digging out an area for my pond (you inspired me to do it early @zugenie ) and I’ve uncovered a lot of these (see pic).
I’ve found a few worms under the gravel and then three layers of membrane and also a few slugs.
Are the eggs from the worms or the slugs?
If they are slugs eggs, what should I do with them?
If they are work eggs, should I dig them up and put them in a big pot? Or just dig them in under the pond?
Your help, as always, is much appreciated?

They’ve been dead a while as they were easy to break.
