They won't need supports just now, but as they get bigger - probably once you're planting out, they'll need some. A cane put in at the same time is ideal, and just tie the stems to the cane with some soft string. Tight round the cane, and a bit looser round the plant itself. Even the dwarf ones [I think you said that's what you have?] can get quite tall, and they're easily damaged in windy weather. It helps if they have some sturdy plants around them, but even so, they can get damaged, so it's worth adding a cane. Put something on the top though, so that you, and more importantly, the wee one, don't get poked in the eye if you're working nearby
