A guess, the top photo might be a Thalictrum.

Thanks. The other might be too early to tell. l'm wondering if it could be an eupatorium.

Good to see the thalictrum coming up @Fire. My 'Splendide' is feeble looking in comparison.
Could the second photo be a Japanese anemone?
