Using Moss on Veg Plot !

Hi

I have a pile of Moss that I have removed form our roof, quite a lot, question , I am not a person to waste anyting, could I mix this into my Veg plot ?.

Well it is just a plant based thing, so I thought I could just dig it into my plot !
