    If they're that far on in growth, and get a bit of cold weather, that's the effect you have in your photos.
    I think France has seen some unseasonably cold weather from what other posters have said. We had a similar situation here last year after pruning, so no flowers. Just the way it is sometimes. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Yes, hope the flowers aren’t affected.
    I have just inspected my dahlias and see I have something called crown gall so I’m going to ask for advice about that.  I have just discovered this forum, so helpful!
