Orange tree pests

Hi everyone,

I have a potted orange tree and I've had issues with pests eating the leaves for the past year. I put it outside in the warmer months last year, but the leaves were getting eaten/destroyed. So since the beginning of winter I brought it into the house and located it in a sunny spot. But the problem seems to persist. I occasionally see money spiders hanging off of it, but I don't see any other pests around. Some of the newer leaves are getting eaten though since I've brought it into the house.

Any suggestions to help stop the issues?

That's so helpful, thank you. I've given the plant a proper clean to get rid of as many of the scale insects as I could (which are all over the stems as well) and there were 3 or 4 small caterpillars too. I assume all of these things originated when the plant was outdoors. Hopefully the plant sparks back into a bit of life!
