Vine Weevil & Strawberries in containers

Anyone know what should be done non chemically when strawberries have an infestation of vine weevil also do you need to see if other strawberries in pots that look healthy should be looked at.
Can vine weevils hurt potted small fig plants?
Thank you in advance.

You can take the strawberries out, wash all the soil off the roots, and if there are still enough roots on them,  re plant in fresh compost. If the grubs are present in the soil, you can spread that out somewhere for the birds. That's particularly useful at this time of year.  :)
If you gently pull on the other plants, and they seem well rooted, they should be fine.
I'm assuming it's weevil grubs you're having problems with though, as opposed to the adults?
I've never had any problems with them in strawbs, and I grow nearly all of mine in containers, so maybe you're a bit unlucky there.

Can't help with the figs - sorry.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
