Creeping Phlox

I have a creeping phlox in a pot. It’s been in it a few years but I was wondering if this is the right time to divide it up as it’s looking a bit squashed in there.

    They do spread a fair bit, so you might need to get a bigger pot if you can't plant it out somewhere. This is a good time to divide if it's big enough though  :)
    You can also do cuttings, but I think they're done later. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
