Buddleia needs help

Hi all, I recently brought a sungold buddleia online and when it arrived the stem had snapped and the soil was also dripping wet, I repotted it in less damp soil and have kept it inside on a sunny windowsill to protect it. All that was left was a small stump, no leaves, (see photo) and Its been about two weeks but there doesn’t seem to be any signs of new growth. Is it a lost cause? Is there anything else I can do?
thanks

Has it got any alive leaves? A photo might help. Your description doesn't sound good :(

I'd be very surprised if that came to anything, I think that's a money back situation.

Oh dear @sam.ireland. That really doesn't look promising.  :/
I'd agree with @nutcutlet. I think you need a refund. It's worth attaching that photo to any contact you have with the seller. A healthy plant would have been showing some growth.
I hope you get a resolution.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Thanks everyone! Yeah I thought as much. I’ll try and get a refund 🙂
