Help Idenify

Hi, we have moved to a new house and have 3 of these, but do not have a clue if it's a tree or shrub or the name of it, can anybody help. Thanks

    Thank you, we were trying to find out as the flowers were gorgeous last week, but then they all went brown after the frost so were unsure if they would flower again.

    Popular for the very reason you can see in your pic @chelesworld :)
    They also have nice clumps of flowers like lily of the valley. I think it gets called that as a common name too. 
    Nice easy shrubs if they have the right soil and enough moisture.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thank you for info, we have 3 and they're all over 8ft tall, but they didn't look much when we moved in but wow how pretty they look now they are flowering.

    The new young foliage is the big attraction off them, but the flowers are lovely too. 

    There's one along the road from me that's always superb. It must be around ten to twelve feet. Flowers are just about finishing now and it'll be a blaze of colour.
    After the foliage all turns green they're a bit dull, but this time of year is their moment in the sun  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    They  like acid soil.  If they are doing well, then rhododendrons and azaleas and magnolias will probably  be happy too.  I have one that was given to  me. Its in a pot. I didn't have one before because I don't have the soil for it.  I wish it would die instead of just looking sickly , then I could have a good reason for getting rid. I like the pot its in.

    That frost was a pain. I don't think it will flower again this year but it will next and they usually hold the flowers for weeks. Forest flame is more accommodating than most and will grow well in slightly alkaline soil.
