We have a white Azalea that has been flowering since late January, and continues to flower at present.  It didn't flower at all for a few years before this year after we moved it although it seemed healthy enough.  Is behaviour unusual or could it be down to freak weather we seem to be getting at present.

If it hasn't flowered well after moving, it can be down to a bit of transplant shock and needing to get re established. It can also be down to a lack of water at the time the buds are forming - late summer/early autumn. If they go short of it then, the buds don't form well.
In this case, possibly a combination of the two    :)

It certainly looks happy now.  To keep it that way, give it a generous mulch of either well-rotted garden compost, ericaceous compost or well-rotted manure or a mixture of those.  Lay it on under the canopy after there has been a generous rainfall so that the mulch locks in water as well as providing nutrients and soil conditioner which will be worked in by all the lovely micro-organisms and worms.

Make sure it gets plenty pf water in July, August and September when the flower buds for next spring are forming because, as @Fairygirl says, they will either fail to form or just drop off if the plant is thirsty.

@longer Your tulips look lovely they like a well drained soil. If it is too dry late summer early autumn this will affect flowering the following spring.

Weirdly we have a similar looking one, scented flowers. We inherited it in a garden 30 years ago, moved it for 12 years, then 10 here, was going to bin it,and it flowered again
