    Fresh young lime (Tilia) leaves are indeed tasty. When we lived near some large lime trees I’d often forage a handful or two when out for a walk, and add them
    to a salad or a sandwich. A lovely fresh ‘green’ taste … the flowers (aka Linden flowers) also make a lovely soothing tisane 😊 


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Seems most folk on here favour this plant. Good that it's easy to pull up if spreads too far.
