How to revive my lawn?

Hi everyone, for the lawn that looks like this after winter (patchy, very dry, lots of yellow dry patches), does it need new seeds or just a feed? And if it’s a feed, could someone recommend a feed that you just sprinkle or pour around ? I have one that you need to dissolve in water and water the lawn with the water can but it’s too big so will take me too much time and effort:( any easier solutions?

Water will usually help - that's what grass needs more than anything to look healthy. It's difficult to see from the photos though.
There's no point feeding unless it's already doing well.
Is it a shady site? Have you been cutting it and it's been too short?
It seems odd that it's so dry when we've just come out of winter. Has it had any other treatment - scarifying or similar?
More info about the site and conditions would help  :)

  • It gets sun for half a day (then it’s sunny that is:) and no, no treatment whatsoever

It's quite hard to tell from those photos. It looks like there's a lot of thatch, which you can remove with a rake. It often prevents good growth.
Again, there's not enough info to really advise well. If it's being cut too short, that won't help if you're in a very dry area, because it just doesn't get a chance to grow well as it's constantly being compromised.
How you use the area also matters- ie if there's constant footfall on it, it'll get worn in many areas.
If it's mossy, that crowds out the grass so you'd need to address that.

Feeding depends on what's easier re your climate and conditions. A liquid seaweed feed is good, or the granular type, but the latter needs moisture to work properly, both before an dafter using the product.
