I have a mixture of some of those things. I love daffodils, clematis, honeysuckle and lavender. I've just planted some yellow roses, I love petunias and I'm planning on stepping stones in the lawn. I don't like blue roses - at least I wouldn't if there were such things.
My mother told me I was upper middle class, I was teased as a child for talking posh. I grew up in a big old farmhouse in Surrey. But does it matter? OH's father was a coal miner from Sheffield, until his wife persuaded him to move to London, and we think alike on a heck of a lot of things. We are who we are, most people are nice, some aren't.
