Clematis x Cartmanii 'Early Sensation'

Do any of you lovely people grow this? Would you recommend it? I'm looking for an evergreen climber and I had Clematis Armandii 'Apple Blossom' in my last garden but I know that would swamp the space I have in mind. Thanks for experience and photos if available.

Ive got this, its currently covered in buds but not out yet. It was very slow to get going initially but its quite happy in a shadier spot against a fence in a raised bed. The leaves are really lovely and evergreen, I like it for that alone!
