Baby plus plants just arrived

Just received my baby plug plants and normally I would pot them straight away but as cold snap forecast could they be left in their plastic sleeves, watered and kept in light position?
Help!

I was just about to post my congratulations !

Can you pot them up then keep them indoors, or is that too much of a faff?
They should be fine for a few days . l have kept them up to 5 days like that in the past, but you need to watch them like a hawk.
What sort of plants are they ?

Baby plug plants. I wouldn't be doing anything except potting those on  :)

Even hardy plants would be vulnerable if planted out just now if they're tiny.
Have you got a photo? They'd be fine in what they've arrived in for a few days, but if they're healthy, a slightly bigger pots for each would be ideal.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thanks both. They are mainly petunia, impatiens, begonia, etc. tender plants. I have them in the utility at the moment with the plastic sleeves opened. Fingers crossed they will be ok.
