Please can you help I.D. this plant

I would be very grateful if anyone can identify this plant. It was alone in Aldi and had no label. Google lens suggested gardenia, but I wondered if it might be a camellia or rhododendron?, Thanks in advance

    Not Camellia or Rhododendron so quite likely to be a Gardenia

    Thank you, oh dear I don't think it's going to be hardy then. I didn't think a gardenia would be flowering yet, thanks again for the help
