Chrysanthemums in Pots

harmonyharmony Posts: 403
I got these as a Xmas present and they were in full bloom, big white flowers. Chrysanthemums  i think.
The blooms lasted weeks and when they had finished I cut them back. There's 8 plants in the pot and they have started to put on more growth with a couple of small buds on 2 of the plants. I have never grown these before and there wasn't a label with them so not sure whether they are hardy. Should I split them into individual  pots and let them grow on. They are on my kitchen windowsill  just took them outside to take a pic. Any advice welcome. I did take a photo of them in bloom but can't seem to find it.  Thanks

They were given as houseplants and the likelihood is that they are not fully hardy. Most of the ones that are have quite small flowers, such as the Pennine  range, though there are others. They would probably benefit from re-potting though, perhaps in groups of 2 or 3 :)
