Problem with Monstera plant leaves.

I’m having problem with my plant and I’m not sure what is wrong with the leaves they seem to be brown and not growing. They aren’t in direct sunlight and I use a moisture stick to make sure it is fry before watering. Please can someone help

    Usually brown patches ringed with yellow at the edge of the leaves would make me think overwatering, have you pulled it out of the pot and checked the roots?

    No what should I look out for?

    Healthy roots will be white/light coloured, if they’re rotten (which would be a sign of overwatering) then they’ll be dark in colour and mushy.
