Apricot tree oozing

Hello, I have a young 2yr old apricot tree and on some of the buds it's oozing throfy white bubbly stuff. When I did a cutting at the top it was bubbling liquid. Best I can describe it is like washing up liquid. When you touch it ,it has some stickiness to it.
I have a feeling its canker but doesn't look like it but its coming out of several bud locations. I havent pruned it for fear of canker
