My poor little olive tree

Can anyone give me some advise on how to look after my little olive tree, she doesn't look very happy and I don't know how to care for her - any advice would be greatly appreciated - she just looks quite bare and isn't flourishing

    Hi
It isn't too late to tidy it up.  Prune branches in the middle of the tree to let some air through it.  Although it hasn't got yellow leaves, it may need a bigger pot - in fact the ground would be ideal.  Some fertiliser wouldn't go amiss and a drink.
    Good luck!

Just wondering, is that an iron construction bar propping up the tree?

My potted olives look fairly tatty at this time of year, they always lose some leaves over winter. I wondered that too @Jenny_Aster, the trunk looks tightly trussed up which is not good for it whatever the material. Drainage could be an issue if the pot is not raised on pot feet.

Don't think it's a she or a he as olives have both stamens and carpels, in other words both male and female in each flower.
Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.
