Seedlings in Cold Frame

HenryPHenryP Posts: 52
Hi All,

I've got some seedlings which I've just moved from indoors out to the cold frame. We're in Cornwall and it looks like our lowest coming up is going to be 4 degrees or so. I've got pepper and aubergine seedlings which I'm a little worried about, so just thought I'd check quickly on here if this will be okay?

Thanks in advance!

  • I would bring them in overnight to be safe, they prefer temperatures over 10oC. I usually keep mine indoors until about mid April then spend a couple of weeks putting them out during the day and bringing them back in at night before planting them out end April/start May.
