Portuguese Laurel pleached tree problem!
Hello, is there anyone that has experience with Portuguese laurel pleached trees? I planted 3 in my garden October last year and 2 are doing well. 1 of the trees isn’t looking as good and is a little wilted and less green than the others and has some brown spots on the leaves. They were very expensive and I definitely don’t want them to die off. I would ideally like it to stay where it is as it’s screening an unsightly mess behind. When I bought them from the garden centre I was told they don’t like a lot of water. I have not hadn’t to water them recently as it’s been very wet. I have looked at the soil at it’s still very moist. It appears to be draining fine but the area is a wet area on clay soil. When we planted them we made very big holes and filled in with compost and manure to give them the best start. I have attached some photos. Anybody have any tips?
