Geum's being eaten

We have recently noticed that our Geum are slowly being eaten by something. We've checked and can't see anything visible on them - does anyone have any advice? Pic attached. Thanks

  • Mine are the same. A combination of moth caterpillars and slugs are too blame. If you go out at night, you’ll probably see the culprits.

I would remove some of the older leaves carefully like the one in your photo. New leaves will be emerging underneath, some of these may have some damage but as they grow things will improve.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
