Help identifying a climber

heath64heath64 Posts: 33
Hi. We've moved into a new house and I'm struggling to identify some of the plants in the garden. This is being trained as a climber on an east-facing fence (we haven't been in long enough to know if it flowers). My thinking is possibly a quince? but not sure. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Rosa banksiae 'Lutea', will grow to 20' high. I had it growing on a 3 storey house and it was periodically cut to the ground, but always recovered.

Your pics show flowers buds...they will soon open. Enjoy!
