If you plant another heuchera then cover the entire top of the soil in grit.

I put grit on the top of the soil in all of my shady pots since I started my battle with the weevils. I’ve seen them on more than heuchera and lost others too.

Since I’ve gritted I’ve not lost anything (apart from the ones I put put in the garden but that’s a different type of battle in a new garden).

Grit is the key when it comes to stopping them laying eggs. 👍🏼

  • Think I may plant somethings else in the pot, as Heuchera sounds more prone in pots vs soil.
    Skimmia maybe, as shady spot.

Good idea about the grit, I do it with my front pots as looks nice and retains miosture but bonus if anti- weevil too.
