Oh and tulip scarlet baby - ones moldy, others look ok! How have I ended up with so many haha!

Like many people - you haven't been able to resist buying stuff!
    Get the healthy ones planted.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Thanks so much @Fairygirl - might be a daft question but if they’ve sprouted should the sprouts go upright above the soil?

Thanks so much @JennyJ for your help too 😊 going to have a go this afternoon 😊

Plant them so that the base is at the correct depth - ie around 3 times the height of the bulb.  :)

  • Fall is ideal for planting tulips. Yet, early spring bulbs thrive if potted, refrigerated at 35-45℉ for 10-12 weeks.

I don't know how big your fridge is, but in UK we plant bulbs in pots or the soil and leave them outside. I would need a fridge bigger than my  kitchen .
  • I have been staggered at how early some bulbs left in the ground come into growth. When I have accidently dug up bulbs which I have left in the ground they have had new roots growing in August.

Daffodils particularly seem to start growing , this year probably earlier than usual due to wet weather.
