I find most suppliers are putting a lot fewer seeds in the packet now. The exception is Franchi seeds. Apart from things like Parsnips, and French beans, which need to be fresh, most packs last several years, if kept cool and dry. Simply seeds are low cost and not many in pack.

I do like value for money, my last packet or Roma Tomatoes lasted nearly 20 years. Not bad for 99p.
