Cosmos Seedlings

Jules1MJules1M Posts: 12
Hi, I trying to grow Cosmos from seed for the first time but they seem to be leggy & keep pulling towards the light, I keep turning them around but wonder if there's anything else I should be doing? They're on a table in front of the window so should be getting plenty of light. I'm new to this so would appreciate any advice you can offer. Thank you.

I think you've planted them too soon.. If they're leggy, they're not getting enough light. Try sowing some  again in a few weeks and put them somewhere with plenty of light but be careful that they don't get scorched if the sun is too hot.

They are a full-sun plant, and need as much light as possible once they have germinated.  Plant again in a few weeks, put them on the windowsill during the day (might be too cold there at night) with something reflective behind them like some foil to help bounce back the light.  Blow on them a few times a day or gently run your hands across the top to help 'toughen' them up a bit.
