Weed or not?

I think it is but can you confirm this is a weed?

    That's Clover ... can't tell which one yet. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Yes, clover. Depends where it is whether it's a weed. I'm quite happy to have it in my lawn bug I don't want it in my flower beds.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    There's a lot of clover in my lawn - the pollinators like it so I leave it  - but I don't encourage it in most of the borders. Exception is some of the giant clovers which are ok in the woodland / wilder border.
