potatoes

All my seed potatoes have well and truly chitted before I got to them . All shoots are white and about an inch long . Should I leave them on or remove and hope for a second lots of shoots?

    No, don't remove them.  They're unlikely to grow again, and an inch long isn't a problem as long as you're careful not to knock them off or damage them.  

    The East Anglian farmers on light coastal land have been planting potatoes for the last couple of weeks, so if you're in a reasonable area temperature-wise and can offer yours a bit of protection in the event of forecast frosts, I'd get on and plant them  if I were you. 🤞
