School Herb Garden advice wanted.

    Sorrel is easy to grow and gives a bit of height, chives are easy and pretty too.

    It might be interesting, as you have so much space, to consider an historical patch with cuurently lesser grown herbs such as lovage, savory and hyssop.

    Thanks. I've previously grown lovage and I think it's underated.  Also along the historical line... I'm pondering something like soapwort.

    Or Angelica - there's a purple version too, and you can candy the stems. Very statuesque, but it may seed itself about. I like Lovage too. As a vegetarian, it is very useful for a bit of umami to liven things up :D
