could someone identify this plant please

I was given a few of these and put them in the pots with my daffodils but don't know what they are

    They're dwarf Iris. Iris Reticulata is the proper name. They come in a variety of colours - mostly blues/purples   :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    The more visible one in your photo could be ‘Clairette’

    They are beautiful but can be difficult to flower year two and onwards in my experience. I think it is something to do with the fact that they develop bulbils or tiny new bulbs instead of concentrating on flowers .Suggest feeding them after flowering as this may help to bulk them up for next year. 
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
