Help identifying Succulent?

edited March 2022 in Plants
Hi, I got this succulent recently from a store but it doesn't say what it is anywhere on a label or the planter. It resembles an aloe, but the leaves come from different points on the stem, and the teeth on the leaves aren't as even as aloe, they're sort of randomly shaped. I've tried googling but nothing I've found seems right so far - can anyone help me ID it?
Thank you!

(it was a free plant due to damage, and i broke two more leaves, but I'm hoping I can keep it alive)

Edit: added photo

It does look like an aloe to me. There are lots of different species and to confuse things further hybrids with closely related species.

    Possibly a type of Haworthia?

Possibly aloe zebrina 'danyz'. The colour will probably improve with better growing conditions.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Oh that does look just like it, funny leaf edges and all, that definitely fits. Thank you!
