    Wow, where was that @owd potter?  My purple leaved cherry is unfortunately nearly over, aided by the greedy pigeons eating the blossom. I can see the leaves appearing.

    Cherry blossom central @Lizzie27. Tokyo in 2015.
    I was fortunate indeed to be there 2nd April, right in the middle of Hanami.
    Tokyo is just awash with blossom.
    Truly magnificent
    Just another day at the plant...

    Yes we were supposed to visit in 2020, but for some reason we didn't go. 🤔
