    Thanks to all who helped identify some cuttings given to us in February. The succulent leaves but woody stems mystified us but you were correct in saying they were Lampranthus. All the cuttings (taken in late winter!) developed roots and this photo shows one starting to bloom. Not knowing what to expect, I popped them in with a Pearly Everlasting - Anaphalis margaritacea - but I think they deserve a pot of their own.

    Wistie2 It is always great when someone comes back with an up date I often wonder 'what happens next 'so thank you.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
