Mystery succulent

Can anyone kindly identify this succulent for me?   And what are those strange things on stalks - are they seed pods or flower buds?   Many thanks.  Plant is about 18" high.

    Peperomia ferreyae and yes those are the rachis which contain the flowers. Perperomia have quite odd flowers.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
