I assume this chap is an aloe. It's happy enough at the moment on a south facing windowsill and doesn't mind the radiator This spot gets very hot in the summer. Will it be ok there or will I need to find somewhere else to put it?
It looks more like a haworthia/aloe hybrid than an true aloe but they are extremely difficult to tell apart and are commonly hybridised. I keep a couple of haworthia and aloes on a south facing window sill and they do really well. I'd be more concerned with being over a radiator in the winter months (although mine are exactly the same) as this is far harder on the plants than a bit of baking in the sun. So if it's happy now in winter I think you will be fine, just make sure they get enough water when it heats up. If you watch the leaf tips closely, any sign of drying up likely means they want a less sunny spot. It is difficult because some can do really well in a more shady area but those I've kept seem to love the sun.
Thanks @thevictorian and @wild edges. I'll keep an eye on it. I was a bit concerned as I had an aloe Vera (a real one!)that shrivelled up in the sun and it happened pretty quickly. Thanks for ID too
I put my Aloe outside in a sheltered spot from late May until September or, when the weather gets cold. It always perks it up to have a bit of fresh air
PS It's maybe 10 years old, so it seems to like it

Like most of my cacti and succulents, I tend to pop mine outside in the summer. Sheltered from excessive rain ( should we get it ) and it then comes back indoors before any chance of frost. Seems to thrive with that regime.
As for the Aloe vera, I've always found them to be happier when not full south facing.

There's one that looks similar in this link

Mine is on a north facing window with no radiator, seems ok. It’ll be good to hear how yours does.
Looks like you have a new pup there; mine had a similar one. I put it in its own tiny pot and it’s now grown to a fourth the size of the parent plant.
