Hello! Is this evening primrose or a weed?

    If the underside of a leaf feels soft and downy then probably a foxglove.
    If it's coarse and hairy, then maybe alkanet

    Although - what's under it is a weed. The geum urbanum [wood avens] 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thanks all!! No idea where they have come from as I’ve never planted any foxgloves  :D

    They have a habit of seeding quite happily  ;)
    Whether you want to keep them or not is another matter  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
