Raised Bed - 4.8 metres long.

in Fruit & veg
We have a new greenhouse (never had one before). Our soil is clay so we have twisted, curly carrots, parsnips etc. A friend suggested to plant them in deep plant pots which I will try. However, my husband has created a raised bed inside the greenhouse. What would be the best fruit or veg to grow in this palace? So far, the other side of the greenhouse is still grass.

It's worth putting some barriers [front to back] in at various points along the bed, so that you can tailor the contents for different veg requirements though. I do that with my ornamental beds.
Tomatoes will be good if you like them. Anything that likes good depth should do well - leeks etc.
I don't grow much veg, but I'm sure others will have lots of suggestions.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I have acquired a copy of the 'Square Foot Gardening'. Thank you. I can see the logic. I will have a long think!
