Plant identification - a Pittosporum/Lemonwood?

  • @didyw if you are able to plant underneath, the soil will be dry and in need of nourishment. Consider the black stems when choosing any plants. Good Luck
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    I think you meant to tag the OP - @heath64.

    But it is a good point.  
    Gardening in East Suffolk on dry sandy soil.

    Thank you or all the advice. Work still I progress but have started trimming to make it more of a tree rather than a bush and really happy with it so far. Thanks

    Yes they are very adaptable,  I have seen them ttained as everything from compact bushes , hedges, to trees.
