Storing new tubers/bulbs

hezzhezz Posts: 7
Afternoon all,

I've successfully lifted and stored my dahlias for years. This year I have decided to rehash part of my border and ordered new dahlias and some skyscraper lilies. Unfotunately the tubers and bulbs have arrived at a time when I am unable to do anything with them for a few weeks.
My question is should I leave them in the soil within the bag they arrived in or unpack them and store them with my other dahlia tubers then treat them the same when the time is right.
Thank you

They'll be fine how they are now unless they are in a sealed plastic bag with no air holes . Keep them in a dry cool place.

    Thank you Perki,
after your reply I checked the plasticky bags they came in and they are covered in pin prick holes presumably so small to keep the compost in the bag but also to allow air in.
    Thanks again
