Roses planting levels

I have created a built up planter incorporating three roses already planted there. The new soil level will be 12 inches above the existing level. do i need to dig them up and replant the roses or will they survive having their stem buried. They are all quite large. 4ft after pruning.

I doubt any of us here have experience of what happens if you bury a rose 12" deeper than it was, but I suspect that digging them up and replanting may be the best plan.
If you choose that route, better done sooner rather than later.

The rose may start to root from the buried stems which will change the way it grows.

Hopefully you'll get some more suggestions
