Clumping Bamboo in Dallas

We had to replace our bamboo last year after the deep freeze in February. I replaced it with clumping bamboo that is supposed to be winter tolorant in Zone 7. I cannot find any images of what the bamboo looks like in the winter, please tell me this is not dying!

    It does look a bit battered ,but as far as l can tell not too bad for a bamboo that is going through a Texas winter.
    Bear in mind that this is a UK based forum, even though there are a few American members. You may be better contacting a more local forum  :)
