Im not growing it outside, everything is being growed under artificial 6400k grow lamps and heat above 22C-30C in a ventilated room only for growing.
So the cuttings is getting the same light as they got before i cut them, nothing have changed with the light or heat, everything is the same as always so dont worry about what time of year it is, for me its summer everyday in my artificial room, i probably should have mentioned this before making the thread.
I mentioned that you used grow lights @sinderyt151R93x17HK, but sometimes posts don't get read properly. It might be something you'll just have to experiment with, because you're not growing in a more conventional way.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
We never bother with seed anymore, although it does feel a little bit like cheating.
That's the point, cheat to skip a couple of weeks as the seed part might take some time, even tho according to what ive read the roots from cuttings will take 1-2 weeks to develop, but its still a couple of weeks saved.
I want to start to grow basil in smaller portion but in bigger spaces, rather then having like 12-16 basil crowded with each other since space should give bigger leafes which should increase yield i assume? i want to take 8 cuttings and try that way, the freezer is full of months of basil already so i want to harvest this basil i have now and grow 8 cuttings which should give me extra weeks of basil supply which should be plenty enough until the cuttings have growed.
