Plant ID please

The fencing guys mixed things up a bit so these might be prizes from next door.  Anyone identify them?

    Bulbs of some sort but I'm sure other's may be able to ID correctly.
    Failing that, have a peep over the fence and if your neighbour has anything similar, ask them if they know :)

    Ha ha Phillippa, of course I could do that!  Doh!  I just immediately come and ask the GW gang by default when something comes up I don't recognise! 😃
    They do look bulby don't they?  Thinking hiacynth maybe?

    Don't think they are Hyacinth - leaves don't look quite right for that.  
    As for asking on here, it's probably quicker than trying to ask your neighbour  :D
    From the pics, there are 2 different ones  - the one on the left could be a Bluebell but maybe @Silver surfer will know.

    my first thought was a day lily, possibly suckering from under the fence?
    Scrape away some soil. Daylilies have yellow roots

    I do not think the foliage is right for daylilies or crocosmia. They look like bluebells to me, probably the thug Spanish Bluebell.

    Not hyacinths and definitely not crocosmia. I thought those bluebells too, but I don't grow day lilies, so I can't be certain it's not those.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
