Wild Garlic Mustard

Can anybody give me a foolhardy way to eradicate wild garlic mustard? I don't want to use chemicals, but it is taking over my existence weeding it out. I can't believe how quickly it roots and how deep and stubborn!

I must say that I've never found it to be a problem provided I get it weeded out before it flowers and seeds. It's pretty easily identifiable ... a I actually let it grow in my small 'wilderness' area as it's so good for wildlife, being the main food plant of the larvae of the Orange-tip butterfly, and weed it out where it's not welcome.
