Thanks all. It's getting an airing (lid off) but the temperature seemed to be no worse than slightly warm. Doesn't seem too wet or dry down below but I've agitated as much as I can get at.

Back to usual number of worms at the top of the dalek this morning.
Hope the resident robin wasn't expecting the free feed to be a regular occurrence

. It’s not to do with temperature, it’s lack of air in a plastic bin with a lid on.
