I don't understand the point ( if there is one ) behind the OP's post. Are we meant to offer our views on whether insulting behaviour is rampant on this particular forum or forums in general ? Perhaps the "insult " can be specified ? Perhaps have a Poll ? Or start a petition ? Or perhaps not. Deja vu springs to mind.
Deep, deep sighs. Been here, seen this, got the T-shirt, tried to be nice, but now I just sigh. This too will pass. No doubt the OP will eventually request that this thread be removed. That was what usually happened....

Nothing in my post was aimed at this forum or any of it's members. I have always had great respect for many GW forum members. My post was intended to generalise in some way, how it appears that contributors to various forums and internet media platforms, so often, how can I put it? You can't see me, so I can insult you. Please believe me. Even though I always get an adverse reception on GW. I do have the greatest respect for you all. Perhaps if you could drop the bias, then we might get on better together. No way was my post directed to the GW forum members. I wish you all the very best.
Then one area of the net. Forums. OK lets take this one. Members who contribute have a vast amount of gardening know-how etc. Contributions can lead to wholesome debates. Sadly sometimes slurs and totally unwarranted comments arise. How do YOU feel about a forum member being insulted etc. Is this the place or the time.
Mike …I think you’re confused … the above is what you wrote … what are we supposed to think you mean?

I might be wrong but he usually turns up here when he has upset somebody on his other forum.
